Capital Machine, a portfolio company of Rotunda Capital Partners, has acquired KC Robotics, a robotic systems integrator based in West Chester, Ohio. Terms were not disclosed. The deal is Capital Machine’s first add-on since it partnered with Rotunda in March 2025.
KC Robotics designs and installs custom automation for manufacturers, including cells for welding, cutting and finishing, material handling, machine tending, assembly and vision-guided work. It has operated for more than 35 years and holds integrator credentials with FANUC, ABB, Yaskawa Motoman, KUKA, Fronius, ESAB and Miller. Tampa, Fla.-based Capital Machine sells and services metal fabrication machinery, including press brakes, cutting equipment and robotic welders, from showrooms in Tampa, Atlanta, Dallas, Indianapolis and Harrisburg, with field service in 22 states. KC Robotics will keep its name and remain under CEO Kyle Carrier. Capital Machine CEO Dan DeBickero said customers have asked for help with automation, not only equipment, and that the deal lets the company deliver complete systems supported by its service team.
