EQT is exploring options for the sale of enterprise software company SUSE in a transaction that could value the business at as much as $6bn, according to a report by Bloomberg citing unnamed people familiar with the matter.
The private equity group has engaged advisory firm Arma Partners to gauge interest from potential private equity buyers, the sources said. Discussions remain preliminary and EQT has not yet made a final decision on whether to proceed with a formal sale process.
